ICT Office


The ICT Office is part of the Faculty Office of TiSEM and takes care of reliable and flexible ICT services and products. There are three focus areas which converge at the workplace of the TiSEM employee: research, education and management & office automation. The ICT Office is also responsible for the support and maintenance of the practical rooms in the Goossens building, CentERlab, Infolab and some of the to TiSEM associated institutes and societies, i.e. IVO, CentERdata and the student societies.

For every new employee we take care of an up-to-date PC with all the required applications at his or hers workplace. In case of questions or problems with your PC, you can contact the ICT Servicedesk.

The products and services of the ICT Office can be divided in four categories which are all related to the three focus areas (research, education and management & office automation).

Workplaces

We are responsible for the purchase, installation and maintenance of all workplaces of TiSEM. There is a distinction between individual, public and special workplaces. The hardware is the property of the departments.

Software development

Furthermore we develop and maintain specific software for research, education and management.

Services

The ICT Servicedesk offers several facilities like lending of and support for beamers and laptops and reinstalling PC's. We also give support for the applications that we have developed for the individual and public workplaces.

ICT Projects

The ICT Office is also engaged in carrying out innovative projects in the field of ICT in research, ICT in education and ICT in management and office automation.
