Statelessness Programme
The Statelessness Programme is a new programme within the EIP department, launched in the spring of 2011 to fulfil the need for a sustainable centre of expertise, which is dedicated to research, training and outreach in the fascinating field of statelessness. During the 2011-2012 academic year, the Statelessness Programme will be offering an English language elective course for undergraduate students entitled "Nationality, Statelessness and Human Rights". And our first public event in Tilburg will be a symposium entitled ‘Voiceless, Faceless, Stateless’ which will take place on Thursday 3 November.
On Monday 12 December our Law School will organize a colloquium together with the University of Nottingham here on our campus. The idea is to get to know our colleagues form the School of Law of the University of Nottingham and to exchange ideas concerning both research and teaching. The colloquium will address the way in which international law is taught at our universities, the role of history in international law and, finally, the fragmentation of international law. Attached you will find the programme.
