European and International Public Law
Welcome to the website of the European- and International Public Law department(EIP). EIP is one of the nine departments of the Faculty of Law of Tilburg University and offers Bachelor's and Master's courses in, inter alia, European Community Law, general International Public Law and Human Rights Law. In addition, throughout the academic year, several seminars will be given by several law professors from outside Tilburg. In these seminars, contemporary topics in the area of European- and International Law will be studied in depth. EIP also houses many talented - junior and senior - researchers of European- and International Law. All EIP staff members are active within the Center for Transboundary Legal Development (CTLD). For more information on CTLD research, please click here.

Statelessness Programme
The Statelessness Programme is a new programme within the EIP department, launched in the spring of 2011 to fulfil the need for a sustainable centre of expertise, which is dedicated to research, training and outreach in the fascinating field of statelessness. During the 2011-2012 academic year, the Statelessness Programme will be offering an English language elective course for undergraduate students entitled "Nationality, Statelessness and Human Rights". And our first public event in Tilburg will be a symposium entitled ‘Voiceless, Faceless, Stateless’ which will take place on Thursday 3 November.
