Department of Organisation Studies
Welcome at the department of Organisation Studies
The Department of Organisation Studies studies organisations from a relational perspective. The focus is on networks and relations as well as processes of cooperation, coordination and control within and between organisations. The department has a strong emphasis on theory driven empirical research and teaching rooted in the social and behavioral sciences. Organisational sociology and organisational psychology are the disciplinary pillars of the research and education programs of the department.
Part of the research is embedded in the interdisciplinary Center of Innovation Research, CIR (in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration). The department offers Bachelor and Master's programs in Organisation Studies, including a track in a Research Master.
The staff of the department encompasses researchers and lecturers from several European countries.
