Gijs van de Water, 24, recently got his Master’s degree in Information Management. The Information Management program prepares students for a career at the interface of information technology, business and management. Before Gijs started on the Master’s program in Information Management, he studied computer science at a university of applied sciences. -
Elisabeth Kempf wins KVS medal for best PhD thesis in economics
09th November 2017Dr. Elisabeth Kempf has won the KVS medal for the best PhD thesis in economics in the period 2014-2017. The prize was awarded by the Royal Netherlands Economic Association (KVS) for her thesis <i>Essays in corporate finance and financial intermediation</i>, with which she earned her PhD from Tilburg University in June 2016. Her PhD supervisor was Professor Olivier Spalt. Earlier this year, she also won the J.C. Ruigrok Award 2017.

Prof. Arie Kapteyn awarded with Pierson Penning
17th October 2017Professor Arie Kapteyn, former Dean of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management and founding father of the Center for Economic Research at Tilburg University, has won the 2017 Pierson Medal together with Professor Bernard van Praag of the University of Amsterdam.

This general World Top 500 is published annually by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
