The European Consortium for Sociological Research (ECSR) promotes sociological research in Europe, in particular by encouraging co-operation between research institutes. Membership is open to research institutes and university departments in all European countries. ECSR organizes yearly conferences, workshops for graduate students, and an annual Graduate School. The European Sociological Review is the official journal of the Consortium.
