Corporate Social Responsibility
For Tilburg University, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a comprehensive vision of modern entrepreneurship, the core of which is that the organization creates economic, ecological, and social added value in the entire chain of its activities. This vision is implemented and practiced by the university at strategic and operational levels. This includes making the university healthier by making considerations regarding environment and social issues part of the university’s policy and operations. In addition, the university gives account to its stakeholders and to the community at large.
CSR is basically a process of continuous improvement which is in fact never finished. Sustainable development means looking for the right balance between People, Planet, and Profit.
