Tilburg University has a clear and simple complaints procedure for students. The procedure ensures the appropriate use of privacy-sensitive data.

What have we achieved?

  • Central Disputes and Complaints Desk: following the enactment of new education legislation in 2010, Tilburg University was the first to introduce a central complaints portal for students. Students can use the portal to file complaints and lodge objections in an easy-to-use online environment.
  • Emphasis on privacy: we attach great importance to the appropriate use of privacy-sensitive data. To this end, the university has taken a number of measures, and we ensure that our employees are well-informed about the proper use of data (information for staff).
