Participative decision-making at Tilburg University
Students and employees contribute to thinking, discussing, and deciding on Tilburg University’s policies.
At a central level, this happens in the University Council and, at a decentralized level, in School Councils and Divisional commissions. The members of the councils and commissions are elected.
In addition, the Executive Board consults with the University Labor Representation Board on all legal status issues. Representatives of the trade unions are members of the University Labor Representation Board.

Divisional Participation Committee Tilburg University
Every Division within University Services has a Divisional Participation Committee, consisting of employees representing the Division. The Divisional Participation Committee discusses the views and interests of the Division’s employees with its Managing Director.
