The University considers the Tilburg University alumni to be its most important ambassadors both at home and abroad. They are the mainstay of the university's contact with society, a true reflection of the university's slogan Understanding Society, and form an integral part of the current university community.

Maintaining good relations with alumni is a way of increasing knowledge of man and society within Tilburg University.

The Tilburg University Alumni Office advises on and executes the alumni policy on behalf of the Executive Board and therefore of Tilburg University.
