Fitness and cardio

The Sports Center offers many opportunities for fitness and cardio training. There are three fitness rooms with various pieces of equipment suitable for both cardio training and Free Weights.

General guidance or personal advice
You can use the fitness equipment whenever the Sports Center is open. Having completed the introductory course, you can use all the facilities of the fitness and cardio training rooms and join one of the groups if you wish. Your sports pass entitles you to use the equipment at any time (except when the fitness room is being used for a group training session). Sometimes, however, a little extra help and advice may not go amiss. There are various options.

15 minutes work-outs
Up for a real work-out? The Sports Center runs a short (15 minute) but intensive abdominal workouts, switching workouts and legs and bums and tums workouts every day, Monday to Friday. One of the fitness instructors will be on hand to ensure you train effectively and responsibly. The times vary from week to week and are shown on the notice board in Fitness Room 2.
