No trains to and from Tilburg between April 28 and May 13
Between Sunday, April 28, and Monday, May 13, 2024, there will be no trains from, to, or via Tilburg. During these fifteen days, construction work will take place at Tilburg Central Station and at Tilburg Universiteit. In addition, ProRail will be working on the train tracks between Tilburg and Breda, and between Tilburg and Vught.
Students, staff, and visitors of Tilburg University are advised to use the NS Travel Planner in this period when traveling to the campus. NS will provide a replacement bus service. This may lead to extra travel time of at least 30 minutes.
Construction work
The construction work at and around Tilburg Central Station includes the renovation of platform 1 and the stairs to platforms 1, 2, and 3, and a new platform 4 will be built. At Tilburg Universiteit station, platform 1 will be given a makeover, with new paving, lights, cameras, and a public address system being installed. In addition, work on the train tracks will take place at different locations between Tilburg Universiteit and Breda and between Tilburg and Vught.
