Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024
In line with previous years, Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in the 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject. Since the 2020 edition of the ranking, Tilburg University has ranked in the worldwide top 100 in the broad faculty area of Social Sciences & Management. Tilburg University’s ranking rose from a 94th position in 2023 to a 88th position in 2024 in this area.
Of all Dutch universities, Tilburg University achieves a 3rd position. This is the same position as in the last five editions of the ranking. In the underlying disciplines, Tilburg University belongs to the top 50 worldwide in Marketing (#42) and Economics & Econometrics (#50). In addition, Accounting & Finance (#61) and Psychology (#62)also remained in the top 100 worldwide.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based on academic and employer reputation (measured via surveys), and research impact (average number of citations and h-index). More information on the rankings and methodology can be found on the QS website.
