With Dutch diploma

If you hold a Dutch diploma and you want to apply for the International Business Administration program, you need to take the following steps before 15 May:

  1. Register yourself for International Business Administration through www.studielink.nl and click 'yes' at question if you want to participate in the decentralized procedure
  2. Send us your motivation letter, preferably by e-mail to e-mail: InfoTiSEM@uvt.nl or by regular mail to:

Only after you have officially registered through Studielink and submitted your motivation letter, you will take part in the decentralized selection procedure. If you have not been selected by means of the decentralized selection you will automatically participate in the drawing of lots procedure.
If you do not want to be included in the decentralized selection procedure, but instead just participate in the drawing of lots procedure, you still need to apply for our program through Studielink before 15 May.

Level of mathemetics with a HBO first year's degree
Do you want to enrol in the International Business Administration program at Tilburg University and do you have a HBO first year's degree (propedeuse)? Please realise that Mathematics is an essential part of all of the Bachelor's programs offered by the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. It is possible that you do not have the required level of mathematics to complete the program successfully. Tilburg School of Economics and Management may advise you to do a mathematics test. You can take this test in April.

You need to contact the Student Service Desk for more information about the mathematics test: education-tisem@tilburguniversity.edu or +31-(0)13-4663037 (Monday-Friday 10.00-12.30 and 13.00-15.00).

With non-Dutch diploma

If you want to apply for our program holding a non-Dutch diploma, you need to take the following steps before 15 May:

  1. Register yourself for International Business Administration by means of Studielink, the Dutch central organisation through which applications are processed for entry to higher education, at www.studielink.nl and click 'yes' at question if you want to participate in the decentralized procedure
  2. Send us a printed version of the application form (available online), completed in full and signed by you, together with the following documents:
  • A copy of your passport
  • A certified copy (with the official stamp of either your school or the Dutch Embassy) of your secondary education diploma. If you have not yet obtained it, please enclose a certified copy of your most recent transcript of records/list of grades
  • A transcript of all records/list of grades
  • If you are required to provide an English proficiency test, include a true copy of either the legalised Academic IELTS or TOEFL English proficiency test results
  • A legalised translation of all documents / certificates, transcripts of records / lists of grades and other documents if these are not already in Dutch, English, French or German
  • A motivation letter
