Accommodation in Tilburg
Although Tilburg University does not offer student accommodation itself, we would like to help you get started with finding your own accommodation in Tilburg whilst you are still in your home country. We would therefore like to inform you about the options available to you. There are two housing companies in Tilburg which offer furnished accommodation specifically for international students - WonenBreburg and KamerBemiddeling Tilburg. Together these companies have launced the website Your Room in Tilburg . Here you can find more information about the accommodation offered and the Terms and Conditions for renting. For details about how and when you can reserve a room, please read ‘reservation system’ below.
If you have been accepted onto a Bachelor, pre-Master, Master or Research Master programme, you are guaranteed accommodation if you reserve your room before 1 August 2012.
Rental costs
Accommodation costs in Tilburg vary between ¤300 and ¤450 per month. This includes bills (water, electricity, gas and internet) and all rooms are fully-furnished. For more information about this, please go to the respective website or contact the housing company directly.
Reservation system
By the middle of June, you will receive an e-mail which will include instructions on how to book your accommodation through one of the above companies via their online reservation system. Within this e-mail you will receive the log-in details for the Your Room in Tilburg website via which WonenBreburg or KamerBemiddeling Tilburg rent their rooms to international students.
You can, of course, look for alternative housing companies via the internet.
