Preparing your stay
Once you have made the decision to study at Tilburg University, you will need to prepare for your stay. As an international student you need to arrange several practical matters to assure yourself of an untroubled stay in the Netherlands, including the immigration formalities.
If you are a Non-EU student you will probably need a visa and/or residence permit. If you are a student from an EU member state, you do not need to apply for a visa or a residence permit, but you might still want to know more about Dutch immigration regulations for EU students.

If you are a current international student, you might also come across matters relating to immigration.

If you have a question concerning Dutch immigration regulations for international students and you cannot find the answer in this section, do not hesitate to contact the Immigration Officers at the Central International Office.
