Study abroad during Global Law

Studying abroad is the perfect way to broaden your view and make the most of your study program. We believe that international study experiences are an essential part of investing in your future career. As our students can attest, it's guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience - and one that is highly valued by prospective employers. We therefor aim to offer our Bachelor’s students the possibility to spend a few months in a different country in the third year of their study program.

A valuable experience

Going on exchange is a big adventure: experiencing a whole new culture, language and way of life, including the ways in which different cultures view the world, and even how differently they approach university education. Immersing yourself in a new city with new people and studying at another university is an exciting and educational experience.

When can I go on exchange?

The program in Global Law leaves room for following some courses abroad. In the third year of your studies, we offer you the opportunity to spend Spring semester in a different country. The sixth semester courses of your program can be replaced by courses you take abroad. In this way you will not have any delay in your studies.

Where can I go?

We have exchange agreements with top partner universities in Europa, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. As a student of Tilburg University you can choose from an infinite number of international destinations, such as:

  • University of New South Wales, Sydney, New Zealand
  • University of Connecticut,Hartfort, United States of America
  • University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa
  • University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
  • University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Find out where you can go by browsing the list of our international exchange partner universities around the world and just start imagining what it will be like to travel the world, meet lots of new friends, develop a better understanding of other cultures, take interesting courses, and invest in your future career.
