What our students say about Global Management of Social Issues

Our students are happy to talk about their experiences. Why did they choose for Global Management of Social Issues and study at Tilburg University?

Amber Dekker

Amber, student

"I wanted to find a study course that would educate me in several different fields. My interests range from sociology to economics and psychology, and I really enjoy taking classes that relate to all those areas."

Adam Dziedzic

Adam Dziedzic, student

"Perhaps Tilburg is not London or New York City, but it is definitely big enough for you to have a lot of fun, yet small enough for you to accidently bump into someone you know when in Town. Its great! "

"After graduation, I wish to work for international organizations in the field of community development, and Global Management of Social Issues is exactly what I am looking for. Unlike many broad-based programs (as in other universities), Global Management of Social Issues is a really in-depth one; it not only focuses on Organization Studies or Human Resources Management, but also lets students approach the real 'wicked problems' in many aspects, which is the core activity of a lot of countries and organizations. All will perfectly prepare me for good performances in the future, I believe."

Student Raquel Mac Donald GMSI

Raquel Mac Donald, first-year student from the United States of America

"I chose the program because it encompassed many of ideas and topics I was passionate about (such as community service, problems that don't have one solution), and its focus on international issues. The program included many international students, which, for me, makes the program more interesting and informative."
