Exchange programmes

Tilburg University welcomes about 250 international exchange students each year. These students come to Tilburg within the framework of ERASMUS agreements and bilateral agreements with universities all over the world.

Exchange application

The application and registration process exists of four steps:

  1. Check if your university is an exchange partner of Tilburg University

    See if your university is on our list of partner institutions.

  2. Application at your home institution

    If your university is an exchange partner of Tilburg University you can apply for a study abroad period at the International Office of your own university.

  3. Application at Tilburg University

    Once you have been selected by your home institution, you can start your application by filling in the online application form and gathering all required documents.

    After receiving your application form and the complete set of required documents, Tilburg University will send you a confirmation by email and will start the admission procedure by evaluating your educational background. The admission procedure usually takes around four weeks.

  4. Registration

    If you have been admitted to an exchange program at Tilburg University, you will receive a confirmation of your admission. As an international student you will receive your registration package during the Welcome Week. You are kindly requested to fill in the registration documents as soon as possible and send them in. In order to attand educational activities at the UvT, you need to be registered.
