Exchange programmes

Tilburg University welcomes about 250 international exchange students each year. These students come to Tilburg within the framework of ERASMUS agreements and bilateral agreements with universities all over the world.

Application and Admission

The application and admission process can be divided into three steps:

  1. Checking the admission requirements

    Do you meet all admission requirements?

  2. Application

    If you meet all the admission requirements, you can start the application process. First of all, please read the application instructions. After this fill in the online application form and gather all required documents. After receiving your application form and the complete set of required documents, Tilburg University will send you a confirmation by email and will start the admission procedure by evaluating your educational background. The admission procedure usually takes around four weeks.

  3. Admission

    If you have been admitted to a Free Mover program at Tilburg University, you will receive a confirmation of your admission. As an international student you will receive your registration package during the Introduction Week. You are kindly requested to fill in the registration documents as soon as possible. You need to be registered in order to attend educational activities.
