Custom-made Courses for Employees
It is the Language Center’s goal to offer Tilburg University employees a wide variety of courses and trainings. That is why the Language Center often organises ‘Custom-made’ courses for Tilburg University faculties, services, and other departments. In these cases, a training or course is completely tuned to the wishes and requirements of a group of employees.
Custom-made Courses
It is not merely the content of a training that is custom-made; so are the intensity of the trainings and the dates and times at which they take place. There are, for instance, regular courses for Law School and School of Social and Behavioural Sciences PhD students, oral proficiency training for C&M and P&O, and an intensive English oral proficiency training for lecturers teaching in an English study programme. The possibility for custom-made Dutch courses is also available. If you are interested in organising a Custom-made course, please contact the Student Service Centre.
Custom-made Course Example
The Intensive NT2 Training (Victimology Institute Tilburg) involved five full days of NT2 training with lessons every morning and afternoon. Between these sessions, the participants worked on private study. They had lunch together with an NT2 instructor. This meant that for eight hours each day, every participant worked intensively on learning Dutch without distractions from day-to-day worries. This course at beginner’s level is meant for small groups of 3 to 4 participants.
