If you follow the professional track (RA/RC), you can enter the part-time Post-Master Accountancy (PMA) program for 'Registeraccountant' (RA - in Dutch). This is the best preparation to pursue a job as 'Registeraccountant' in an audit firm. This track is also ideally suited if you want to pursue an (international) career as a financial controller. The professional Track offers a solid foundation to grow into general management positions. It is also the ideal preparation for the post-Master's program 'Registercontroller' (RC - in Dutch). Career opportunities are omnipresent and most students find jobs in auditing, controlling, consulting or other industries that require well-trained accountants.
The CFA Track (Chartered Financial Analysts) offers the ideal start for a career as a financial professional, such as equity analyst, credit rating analyst. The program is also ideal for students who are interested in a job with financial institutions like banks, insurance companies, rating agencies, or other investor groups. The CFA Track in the MSc Accounting is since June 2009 part of the Tilburg-CFA program partnership. You will be prepared for the CFA exams, and have access to CFA related resources, such as Tilburg-CFA social events, and CFA scholarships. In short, this track is ideally suited for persons with a strong combined interest in both accounting and finance.
