Application Procedure Master's programs

Tilburg School of Economics and Management


The application procedure you have to follow depends on your registration at Tilburg University.


  1. Students with a TiSEM Bachelor's or Pre-Master's degree that gives direct access to a Master's program and who are registered as a student at Tilburg University.

  2. Students with a TiSEM Bachelor's or Pre-Master's degree that gives direct access to a Master's program and who are NOT registered as a student at Tilburg University.

  3. University Bachelor's degree of another Dutch University

  4. Students with a Dutch hbo degree

  5. International students

  6. Students interested in a Research Master



  1. Students with a TiSEM Bachelor's or Pre-Master's degree that gives direct access to a Master's program and who are registered as a student at Tilburg University.

    If you are already registered as a student at Tilburg University, you will receive an email in July at your Tilburg University email address about enrollment.

    Please make sure you meet the requirements of the Master's program of your choice. See the Teaching and Examination Regulations of the current academic year to be sure.

    Our Master’s programs with a hbo Pre-Master's program start in September and in February. The Master's program in Finance only starts in September
    You have to submit your formal application by 1 January, if you would like to start in February.

  2. Students with a TiSEM Bachelor's or Pre-Master's degree that gives direct access to a Master's program and who are NOT registered as a student at Tilburg University

    If you are NOT registered at Tilburg University, you will not automatically receive an email about enrollment.

    What should you do?

    1. Enroll via Studielink

    2. Submit an application for admission
    You need permission from the Admissions Committee of TiSEM to register . Submit an application for admission to the Admissions Committee before 31 August. Please make sure you meet the requirements of the Master's program of your choice. See the Teaching and Examination Regulations of the current academic year to be sure.

    Our Master’s programs with a hbo Pre-Master's program start in September and in Februari. The Master's program in Finance only starts in September
    You have to submit your formal application by 1January, if you would like to start in February..

  3. Students with a university Bachelor's degree from another university

    If you do not have Bachelor’s degree from TiSEM at Tilburg University, but you do have a Bachelor’s from another Dutch university and you feel you meet the admission requirements, then you can enroll for a Master’s program within TiSEM. Please see the Master’s program of your choice for more information about enrollment.
