You are making a perfect decision!
We are pleased to know that you have decided to apply for one of the academic programs of Tilburg University. We offer you very high-quality education. So you made a decision you certainly will not regret.

In order to apply for one of the Master programs at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management, please take the following steps:

  1. Fill in the electronic application form
  2. After completion of the form you will receive an email. Follow the instructions in the email and upload all the required documents as mentioned in the online application system.
  3. As soon as your application package is complete - i.e. all the required documents have been uploaded - , we will start assessing your application.
  4. Within 4 to 6 weeks after your application, you will receive the decision of the Admission Committee by email.

Can I change my application request?
When you would like to make a change in your application form, that's possible. You can change your personal information or even your academic program just by sign in your account again. This also applies for the online admission system in which you upload your documents.

What happens next?

After we have received your complete application package, we will review and evaluate your application.

You will receive an email and a letter stating the outcome of your admission request. There are three possibilities:

  • Accepted
    If you're accepted, we will send you the official admission letter together with a so-called letter of intent. If you accept our offer, we kindly request you to sign and return the letter of intent. In May, you will receive your Tilburg University student number and further details how to continue your application. At that time, we will also provide details about the choices of accommodation. We guarantee accommodation for the 1st year of your stay in the Netherlands. If you require a visa, we will inform you personally as from the end of April about the visa procedure.
  • Conditionally accepted
    If you're conditionally accepted, this means that you are admitted to our program, provided that you send the official papers that we are still waiting for such for example your final diploma or test result(s). You will receive a conditional admission letter together with a so-called letter of intent. If you accept our offer, we kindly request you to sign and return the letter of intent. We will already start your visa application if applicable. You will receive the official (unconditional) admission letter as soon as you have submitted the final documents. In May, you will receive your Tilburg University student number and further details how to continue your application, awaiting the final admission letter. At that time, we will also provide details about the choices of accommodation. We guarantee accommodation for the 1st year of your stay in the Netherlands.
  • To a premaster program
    It may be possible that you do not completely fulfill the requirements. Maybe, the level of your university education is not equal to the Dutch university education system. Or maybe, you miss some courses in your current educational background. If this is the case, we may offer you a one-year pre-master program to prepare you for the master program of your choice.

    Rejected
    If you do not fulfill the admission requirements, your application will be rejected. We will e-mail you personally the reasons for rejection. If you object the application outcome, you may appeal the decision to the Examination Board of our school. The written appeal has to be submitted within six weeks of the application outcome.
