Career prospects Business Communication and Digital Media

Upon completion of the Business Communication and Digital Media track, you will be an expert in the field of internal and external communication within a business context. You are up to speed with current developments concerning the use of digital and social media and able to develop evidence-based communication strategies.

Knowledge and skills

Whether it concerns conferencing, community building, customer communication, corporate branding or marketing communication: you know what opportunities digital and social media offer and how companies and organizations can make the most of these opportunities.

The knowledge and skills you have developed enable you to work within both companies and non-profit organizations, for example as a communications consultant, online marketing manager, social media analyst, community manager, cross-media specialist, PR consultant or communication strategist.

Working in the Netherlands after graduation

After obtaining a Master’s degree in the Netherlands, non-EEA students can apply for a residence permit under the Orientation Year for Highly Educated Persons’ scheme. This allows you to spend a period of up to twelve months in the Netherlands to find employment.
