Program Global Communication

The one-year Master's track in Global Communication consists of 60 ECTS credits:

  • 6 Core courses of 6 ECTS (36 ECTS)
  • 2 Research skills modules of 3 ECTS (6 ECTS)
  • A Master's thesis (18 ECTS)

Core courses and program structure

Each academic year consists of two semesters, a fall and a spring semester. Each semester has been divided into two blocks called units.

  • Language, Globalization and Superdiversity
  • Research skills module

Unit 2: November - December

  • Linguistic and Cultural Change
  • Traditional and Non-traditional Modes of Learning
  • Research skills module

Unit 3: January - March

  • Online Writing and Publishing (3 ECTS)
  • Policies on Language in a Superdiverse World
  • Working as a Cultural Professional
  • Master's thesis, part 1 (3 ECTS)

Unit 4: April - July

  • Master's thesis, part 2 (15 ECTS)
