Operations Research and Management Science
The program Operations Research & Management Science (ORMS) is a modern discipline and pre-eminently an applied field. Students learn to solve complicated management decision problems in manufacturing and service sectors. Some of these problems are mainly concerned with design, while others are mainly operational in nature. Using different modeling techniques, this program provides the tools for making the most effective decisions.
The MSc ORMS is interdisciplinary in nature, drawing on the techniques from many fields, needed to analyse problems from a systems approach. This program is designed to provide students a core in operations research, management science, quantitative logistics, and optimisation.
