Tuition fees

The tuition fee you are required to pay is dependent on whether you are from an EEA country or a non-EEA country. EEA students pay the same tuition fee as Dutch students; non-EEA students pay more. For the academic year 2011-2012 the Tilburg School of Humanities has 10 scholarships available for excellent international students who are admitted to a (Research) Master's program at this prestigious School. If you wish to be taken into consideration for the TSH scholarship, please note that the criteria (deadline, admission requirements etc.) for the TSH scholarship and the Tilburg University Scholarship Program (TUSP) are identical.

Student grant (non-Dutch EEA students only)
Students with EEA citizenship are permitted to work part-time throughout their studies. If you work at least 32 hours a month, you may be eligible for a student grant New window, paid on a monthly basis. You are not required to pay back this grant if you successfully graduate from your programme.

Please notice that the university does not assist in finding a job and that the number of jobs open to non-Dutch speaking students is limited. Learn more about finding part-time work:
