Strategic Management
Companies are increasingly faced with highly uncertain and complex situations in which decisions have to be made that are vital for their future performance. Strategic Management aims at developing the sophisticated knowledge and skills that companies need to make and implement those vital decisions.
In our program we:
- Use a mix of teaching methods, such as lectures, case discussions, team assignments, discussions, and presentations, depending on what is appropriate for the specific topic.
- Teach advanced scientific knowledge and methods, but also aim at close collaboration with practice, for example through guest lectures and assignments.
- Emphasize not only the design of a good strategy, but also its implementation, involving, for example, financial and psychological aspects.
- Offer the opportunity to delve into in related fields, among which entrepreneurship and innovation.

Strategic Management is meant for those students who:
- Are intrigued by strategic issues
- Want to acquire strategic knowledge and skills that are useful in any position in any organization
- Want to pursue a career in general management
- Want to pursue a career as external or internal consultant on strategic issues and their solution.
