Schiphol meeting point

At the giant red-white blocked meeting point 'Cube' in the central hall (link). Our students will wear well recognizable t-shirts and we will make use of banners/flags with our logo on it. Check the Schiphol Arrivals map.

Eindhoven Airport meeting point

Eindhoven Airport just has one exit from the Arrival area. Our students will be waiting for you at this exit, also with well recognizable t-shirts and Welcome signs. Check the Eindhoven airport map.

Important note

The Travel Assistance is only arranged from Schiphol Airport and Eindhoven Airport. If you arrive at another airport, you will have to find your way to Tilburg University by yourself. For more information about how to travel to Tilburg University and travel planners you can click here.

Pick-up service from Tilburg Universiteit train station

From the train station 'Tilburg Universiteit' you (and your luggage) will be collected by minibus and brought to Tilburg University. This service will only be offered during the Registration Day from 09.00 a.m. – 07.00 p.m!

General travel information

If you travel without Tilburg University Travel Assistance during the Registration Day, it’s easy to reach Tilburg. We have our own train station ‘’Tilburg Universiteit”, just 5 minutes walk from the campus! But how do you get there? Only local trains stop at this station, so you may have to get off at ‘Tilburg Central station’ and transfer to a connecting train.

More information about travelling to Tilburg University can be found on our website.

Get your train ticket

You can travel on the Dutch Railways with either a single-use chipcard or an OV-chipcard. Both are available from the yellow ticket machines at train stations/airports with the blue overhead sign reading 'train tickets'. Staff at the desk (if available on location) will also be able to provide you with train departure information and general information on travelling by train in the Netherlands.

You travel by checking in and out your (single-use or OV) chip card at the train station before and after your journey.
