Accommodation during the Summer School

Accommodation
You can arrange your accommodation with a recommended housing company in Tilburg. This will entail accommodation for your stay during the Summer School period, depending on the length of the course you choose.

The size of the rooms is 12 square meters and the room will be fully furnished.

Your room is your private area where you can study and sleep. You will share the bathroom, toilet and kitchen with your roommates. Internet will be available (cable). There is a common laundry with washing machines and dryers (against payment).

Location
The rooms are situated either nearby Tilburg University. Our campus, the train station ('Tilburg University') and the bus stop are within walking distance. We recommend you rent a bike during the Summer School period. This is the best way to reach the city center of Tilburg and necessary when you participate in our social program.

Price
Renting a room is possible for either 19 days (2 week courses) or 33 days (4 week courses).
Prices for a room for 19 days is 254 euros.
Prices for a room for 33 days is 414 euros.
Utilities (electricity, water, gas, internet access) and bedlinen are included in the price.

The registration process
Firstly, you have to register for a Tilburg University Summer School course. During the registration, make sure you tick box saying that you are interested in accommodation via a housing company.
Secondly, you will be invited to arrange accommodation online. However, at this point, you are not obliged to make a reservation.

Please note that if you want arrange accommodation via our housing company, your registration and room reservation must be completed by 30 June 2013.

Accommodation after Tilburg University Summer School
Only if you are starting your studies at Tilburg University in the fall semester, you can mail to summerschool@tilburguniversity.edu in order to check the options to remain in your room between the end of the summer course and the start of your regular studies at Tilburg University.

Insufficient supply of TUSS accommodation

Dear student,
Due to one-off necessary repairs of the student housing complex, Tilburg University Summer School 2013 may have insufficient accommodation available through the university. Tilburg University Summer School and its partner housing Association sincerely regret that the customary expected accommodation service is unlikely to be offered in full this year. In the event that you are seeking accommodation during the Summer School, you may be asked to make use of the general housing resources of the city of Tilburg. All potential Summer School students are advised to take this situation into consideration when making travel arrangements.

Tilburg itself does not have an accommodation deficit, so we do look forward to welcoming you all in the summer. We will carefully monitor the number of rooms that are still available through the university accommodation service. Should this number be insufficient, we will make every effort to help you find alternative accommodation.
