Je hebt pas een volwaardige academische opleiding afgerond als je ook een Masterdiploma hebt behaald. De aansluitende Master op de Bachelor Sociologie is de Engelstalige Master Sociology. Master Sociology

The Master Sociology 2011-2012 is an English-taught program that covers one academic year (two semesters of in total 60 ECTS) and prepares for a Master of Science title (MsC). The program focuses on the sociological analysis of problems of social cohesion, in particular social networks and trust, solidarity with one fellow-citizen, and crime and other delinquent behavior. It addresses both the substantive side of these problems (determinants and consequences), as well as the relation with policy. Additional courses are (a) Sociological Research Lab, a course in more advanced statistical techniques, including more advanced regression analyses and multi-level analyses, (b) Recent Advances in Sociology, a course that teaches students how to do meta analyses on existing scientific studies, and (c) Academic writing. The master is completed with the master thesis.
