Professional (RA/RC) track

The Professional (RA/RC) track gets you prepared for making a career in accounting, auditing and assurance, consultancy, management, and regulation. Gain an in-depth, scientific and practical, understanding of financial and management accounting and other related subjects, including corporate financial reporting, financial statement analysis and security valuation, and auditing during this comprehensive track.

CFA track

Tilburg University is program partner of the CFA Institute, the global association for investment professionals. This institute awards the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and offers a range of educational opportunities within the Master in Accountancy and the Master in Finance.

Our CFA track provides the opportunity to study at the interface of accounting and finance. Students who choose this track will be prepared to take the CFA exam upon graduation. Additional benefits of our partnership with the CFA Institute include access to CFA-related activities, events, scholarships, and resources throughout the program, bringing you significant networking opportunities and access to the best sources of valuable job leads.

Subsequent career paths include that of financial analyst, fund manager, and investment banker. Potential employers include banks, insurance companies, rating agencies, and other financial institutions.

Stay in the Netherlands after graduation

After obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the Netherlands, non-European students can apply for a residence permit under the 'Orientation Year for Graduates Seeking Employment’ scheme. This allows you to spend a period of up to twelve months in the Netherlands to find employment.
