Our students, staff and alumni about International Management

Student Sophie Servatius-Mach from Germany

The most memorable experience so far was the hands on practice I experienced while working on a company assignment for the course of International Marketing. All students got the opportunity to develop an entry strategy for a new market. The task tested for working independent, in a team, creativity and feasibility. The experience was complemented with ability to share each insight with the company’s representatives one-on-one.

I discovered that being a student for International Management at Tilburg University offers amazing opportunities, provides educational challenges and invites you to think beyond the horizon.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions related to the university, this program or studying in the Netherlands. I hope to hear from you!

"A lot of my classmates are international students, and they come from all over the world (e.g., Dubai, Mexico, Spain, Pakistan, China, South Africa). You get to meet a lot of people and new cultures. In addition, one of the key characteristic that makes this program different from other Business Masters here is the small scale of the program. There is great interaction with teachers and among students."

"I would advise current students to take advantage of their time at university as much as possible. Get involved in extracurricular activities, get in contact with companies to apply learned knowledge and skills and build a strong network with lecturers and classmates. And last but not least to enjoy their time at university as much as possible!"

"Holding a Bachelor’s degree from Greece, I wanted to meet a new culture and have the experience of studying abroad, at a top university. Tilburg University is among the top economic universities in Europe, offering one year masters. I thought that the quality of Tilburg University certainly would fulfill my high requirements and expectations, while the low cost of studying fees and the perspective to live and work in Tilburg enforced this decision."
