Expertise

Lieven Baele is Universiteit hoofddocent (Associate Professor) Financiering aan de Universiteit van Tilburg. Zijn onderzoeksinteresses hebben betrekking op diverse gebieden, zoals Empirical Asset pricing en Financiële Econometrie. Hij heeft specifiek interesse in (het meten van) financiële integratie, internationale diversificatiestrategieën, tijd-variërende vervluchtiging en correlatiemodellen, de interactie tussen bankstrategie en risico, evenals in de eveolutie van Centraal en Oost Europese kapitaalmarkten. Zijn onderzoek is gepubliceerd in leidinggevende internationale tijdschriften, zoals de Review of Financial Studies en The Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
