Data Science to Advance Society

Did you know that Big Data is used to predict the probability of ATM robberies? This is just one example of the increasing number of applications of Data Science in our society nowadays. Data Science is used to get better insights and smarter decisions.

The Data Science Center Tilburg (DSC/t) is the research center of Tilburg University in the area of Social Sciences and Humanities. You are cordially invited to attend the launching event of DSC/t on May 20, 2016. Several speakers from industry and academia will discuss data analytics applications in, e.g. HRM, finance, logistics and marketing. Moreover, legal, regulatory and ethical aspects of Data Science will be discussed by experts from Tilburg University.
