Babylon's Scientific Board and Management Team

The scientific board of Babylon consists of director prof. Jan Blommaert and associate director prof. Fons van de Vijver, originating from the School of Humanities and the School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, respectively.

The management team consists of dr. Massimiliano Spotti, dr. Kathy Jie Dong and Karin Berkhout. The management team takes care of the scientific, secretarial and logistic support of Babylon.

Visitors Programme

Babylon offers scholars from abroad the opportunity to visit the centre for a short stay aimed at developing international research cooperation. The visitors programme is open to senior researchers and PhD candidates from both European and non-European countries. Read more.
