Director of Graduate Studies

Role

The Directors of Graduate Studies (DGS) are in charge of the Graduate Programs in Economics, Business, and Management that are offered by the Graduate School. They coordinate the Education Coordinators and work closely with the Vice-Dean of Research and the Administrative Director of CentER.

Tasks

Their tasks are:

• to coordinate the recruitment of students, nationally and internationally.
• to coordinate the selection of students.
• to make the final decision on admissions of Research Master and PhD students.
• to make the final decision for awarding awards, grants and honors to students.
• to coordinate the guiding of students.
• to coordinate the monitoring of students, in cooperation with the Education Coordinators.
• to assist with the PhD promotion procedure.
