Tuition Fee

The annual tuition fee of the Program is € 10.000,00 excl. VAT (tuition waivers are possible up to € 7.500,00).

This fee covers:

• Supervision by a faculty member
• Participation in one methodology course and subject specific courses as part of his/her Study and Supervision Plan, including taking exams
• Participation in regular lecture series, research meetings, seminars and conferences, organized by CentER
• Costs of graduation (the beadle, PhD Directors, Research Board, auditorium for the graduation ceremony)
• Access to the University's extensive library collection
• Intranet and mail account access within the Tilburg University web domain, and computing facilities
• Administrative support by the CentER Graduate Office

Not included in the tuition fee and therefore to be borne by the PhD student* are all other costs, for example:

• Research costs
• Participation in courses which are not part of the Study and Supervision Plan
• Expenses related to external courses, conferences, seminars, data, books and/or other research resources
• Costs of travel, accommodation and workplace
• Expenses for the reception at graduation
• Lay-outing, typesetting and printing expenses of the thesis and expenses for the invitations
• Any support after the defense date
