Research Group Econometrics
The Econometrics group aims to contribute to the scientific discourse in
econometrics and statistics at the highest level in both fundamental
and applied research. As a consequence, the group strives to publish in
the top journals of the field, i.e., Econometrica, the Journal of the American Statistical Association, the Annals of Statistics, the Journal of Econometrics, and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (A and B), or in other leading journals.
Productive interaction and cooperation with other CentER research groups (in particular, Finance and Microeconomics) are very valuable and beneficial for the group members. The research climate is excellent: for example, there exists a strong seminar and visitor program, which attracts many international researchers each year. Obviously, we collaborate with researchers from renowned universities from all over the world.
