Auberge du Bonheur

Hotel/Restaurant "Auberge du Bonheur" is located in the woods adjoining the University (about 10 minutes walk from the University). Within the hotel, a number of rooms have been appointed as studios, appropriate for a longer stay.


Studios
There are 10 studios available for CentER guests.
On the ground floor, there are 3 single studios, with an area of 24 m2, and on the top floor, there are 7 double studios, of 28m2 in size, each with its own spacious roof terrace.
All studios have their own toilet, shower, kitchenette, radio and tv, a safe, telephone connection, and the possibility for connection of a personal lap top computer. When you are staying in a studio, you can make your own breakfast or use the breakfast buffet from the hotel (at Euro 17.50 per person). The studios are cleaned every three days. Linen and an assortment of towels are provided for each person. Linen and towels are washed every three days.
The hotel has a separate laundry with two washing machines, a dryer and irons for guests who wish to launder their own clothing. The use of the laundry is free. Aside from this facility, there is a washing/drycleaning service available, for the cost of the guest.
Room service is available until 23:00 hrs, on Sundays until 21:00 hrs. The hotel bar is open until midnight, on Fridays and Saturdays until 1:00 hrs, and on Sundays until 21:00 hrs.
The hotel can provide wireless Internet facilities. Preferably, your laptop should have a network card. In that case, the hotel staff can register your laptop on their network. If you do not have a network card, they can lend you one, after you deposit 60 euros. You will receive your deposit back when you return the network card upon departure.
There is a separate lockable area for the long term storage of, for example, suitcases, winter clothing and bicycles.
As of July 1, 2008 the Auberge du Bonheur is totally non-smoking.
Rates
The studios are available for hire by (international) guests of the university. The minimum period is 3 nights, and the maximum period is 3 months. In 2012, the following rates apply:

To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to make reservations as early as possible. Cancellation of a stay of longer than one month is possible up to 6 weeks prior to arrival, and for a stay of shorter than one month, up to 14 days before arrival. If you cancel your reservation after these periods, you will be charged the full cost of the room.
If your guest for whom you have booked a studio excluding breakfast eventually decides to have breakfast, he or she is requested to mention this to the receptionist upon arrival. Your guest will then have to pay for the breakfast directly at the hotel reception.
If the studio is booked including breakfast and the guest does not arrive on the day of arrival, we have to charge the studio including the costs of the breakfast.
If the studio is booked including breakfast and the guest decides that he or she does not want to use the breakfast, they should inform the reception. Otherwise the breakfast has to be paid for because the Auberge already arranged the breakfast for your guest.
If a studio is booked including breakfast, these are the only extra costs which will be added to the studio automatically. All other expenses such as bike rent, restaurant costs or laundry services have to be paid by the guest when he or she checks out. If these costs are also included this has to be communicated to the CentER secretary.
