Content This chair focusses on victimization and mental health. Van der Velden is especially interested in how stress and psychotrauma are related to mental health problems. At this moment his research is especially aimed at the role coping self-efficacy and resilience, other sources of stress, ethics, victim-assistance and mental health services follow non-work-related and work-related drastic events.
