  • H.E.B. Tijssen presented a keynote lecture, entitled "The Methodological justification in Dutch doctoral dissertations" at the PhD conference in Antwerp on 9 March 2007. The conference was organised by the University of Antwerp for an audience of Belgian and Tiburg PhD-researchers. The same lecture was presented at the Law Faculty of the VU university Amsterdam as an introduction to a debate about the necessity of teaching research methods to PhD researchers of law (Amsterdam, June 25 2007).
