Applications of PhD candidates for the admission to the defence of their thesis are managed by Tilburg Graduate Law School.

Date of your defence
To fix a date for your defence, please contact the secretary of the University's Doctorate Board:

Schedule
Please allow for a period of six months before the estimated date of your defence ceremony to arrange such matters as the application for a date of defence and the appointment of your PhD committee, the approval of your manuscript by the PhD committee, printing your thesis, and submitting 50 copies to the Secretariat of the Doctorate Board (three weeks before the ceremony).
