Launch Tilburg Institute for Family Business

On May 10, 2017 the ‘Tilburg Institute for Family Business’ was launched with a seminar on Family business. The institute has an educational and research program which covers all aspects of family business.  To gather new knowledge and insights for family business related issues, Tilburg University and PwC decided to cooperate. Tilburg University embodies the multi-disciplinary research and PwC opens the gate to the practice of the family business.

During the seminar interesting speakers from different angles shared their vision with the audience. Inge van Vijfeijken (TiU) spoke about the scientific challenges and Diederik van Dommelen (PwC) led an interesting panel discussion between the representatives of family businesses. Geert Vervaeke, dean of Tilburg Law School, and Peter van Mierlo (chairman PwC) ratified formally the cooperation.
