ING charity fund ‘écht©goed doen’ sponsors Microjustice Kenia
(May 2012) ING employee Peter Smits submitted a funding request for the Microjustice Kenia Project in the second round of the Dutch ING Charity ‘écht©goed doen’. ING employees could vote for their favourite project. End result of the thrilling competition is a smashing fourth place and a grant of 50,000 euros for the Microjustice Kenia Project. ING’s Peter Smits and TISCO’s Jin Ho Verdonschot will keep us posted on the developments and results of MJ Kenia.

Update May 2012: In March 2012 Peter Smits, TISCO's Jin Ho Verdonschot and TISCO's Robert Porter have visited Kenia in order to monitor the progress of the project. A report of their journey is now available online.

Innovating Justice Forum 2012: Towards basic justice care for everyone
(2 April 2012) Tisco and HiiL have initiated a Forum which will culminate in an event in The Hague on 16-17 April 2012. The goal of the forum is to organise support for innovations and to link innovators, experts and stakeholders. The forum will identify the most promising strategies and concrete steps to improve the climate to innovate, so that “basic justice care” can become available for everyone. A select group of Rule of Law experts and representatives from international organisations have been invited to take part.
