Online Self-Help Tool for Negotiating Divorce

A team of TISCO and TILT researchers is currently developing an online tool that promotes self-help when partners decide to end their relationship. Aim of the application is to provide a cooperative setting that facilitates amicable settlement of the most common issues in divorce. Ultimately, the tool will be implemented in the existing 'Rechtwijzer' (Signpost to Justice) website, which is freely accessible in Dutch.

Rechtwijzer has been developed by TISCO and TILT for the Council for Legal Aid. Rechtwijzer provides Dutch citizens experiencing common legal problems with self-help tools and advice, e.g. a format for a letter of complaint, or tailor-made referral to legal or other services.
