The Black Hole after Cancer

Yearly, roughly 110.000 people are diagnosed with cancer. Due to new developments in diagnostics and treatments, more and more people survive the disease.

However, continuing daily life after cancer isn't always that easy. Moreover, we do not know how survivors are to be helped in the best way. That is why on Thursday January 24th, the awareness campaign 'The Black Hole after Cancer' was launched on a symposium at Tilburg University. Our colleague Margot Joosen from Tranzo, together with Ronald van der Boom and Corina Roelands, is working on improving guidance and stimulating research.
