Atlas of European Values
What do Europeans think about Europe, God, family, sex, work and politics? The 'Atlas of European Values' is an in-depth reference work which answers these types of questions. The findings in the atlas are based on the results of the European Values Study. This is a Europe-wide study into values, which is coordinated by Tilburg University. Researchers from 33 countries participate in the study.

The atlas uses maps and graphs to show exactly what Europeans think about, for instance, homosexuality, the work ethic and emancipation. Academics, politicians and journalists use this unique collection of data to explain social trends.

Children's University
In 2005, Tilburg University was the first in the Netherlands to start up a Children¿s University to introduce children to science and universities at an early age. The first children¿s lectures included topics such as: regret, mobile phones and victims. The children awarded the initiatives a rating of 9 out of 10- and were enthusiastic participants. Is abduction worse than murder? Why are elephants called elephants? Do animals also feel regret? A professor at the Children¿s University has to be a jack-of-all-trades. Tilburg University has organized the lectures together with Eindhoven University of Technology since 2007.
