Bio

Jacoba Huizenga works as a researcher at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht - research group Participation, Care & Support. As of February 2021 she is working on her PhD 'Towards an integrated approach for people living with dementia and their network', with specific attention to social care. In addition she works as a lecturer in the Institute for Social Work. 

Jacoba studied psychology at Leiden University. She gained professional experience as a psychologist in the field of mental health.
