Completion of enrollment
You are now registered in Studielink. Studielink has forwarded your registration details to Tilburg University. There are just a few steps to go before the Student Administration of Tilburg University can complete your enrollment. Your enrollment will be finalized following Step 4.The Student Administration will communicate with you a number of times about your enrollment, using the e-mail address you provided when registering with Studielink.
Step 1. Message about Tilburg University computer network
Once you have registered with Studielink for the new academic year, your data will be forwarded to Tilburg University. If you are a new student enrolling for the first time at Tilburg University, then you will receive an e-mail from the university containing access details for the Tilburg University computer network. This e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you have indicated in Studielink. Students who re-enroll after a break will also receive this e-mail. It will include your student number, information about your log-in details and information on where to go with questions about accessing the university’s computer network. Please read this information carefully.
PLEASE NOTE! The enrollment process has not yet been finalized when you receive this e-mail. The information on this page will assist you in completing your enrollment.
Students who re-enroll at Tilburg University (even if they enroll for another program) keep the same login information. They will not receive a separate e-mail with log-in details.
Step 2: Message about payment of tuition / weighted fees
After you have registered with Studielink and Tilburg University has received your (new) information, the university will send you an e-mail concerning the tuition / weighted fees payment. This e-mail will be sent to the address you indicated in Studielink. Tilburg University will send this e-mail mid-June at the earliest.
Step 3: Check the status of your enrollment
Step 4. Submit Proof of Payment Tuition (BBC)
(does not apply in all cases)
If you want to enroll at two institutions (both in higher education) and the statutory rate applies to you in both instances, then you only have to pay the tuition / weighted fee once.
Payment to another institution
Register as soon as possible at that institution and pay the tuition fees. Then request a Proof of payment tuition (BBC) certificate. Submit the BBC to Tilburg University together with the tuition fees payment authorization form. You must submit the original BBC. Copies will not be accepted, and neither will a bank statement!
Payment to Tilburg University
If you pay tuition fees to Tilburg University, then you can ask the Student Desk for a BBC after all registration requirements have been met. You will then receive the BBC by regular mail.
Step 5: Enrollment Certificate
Once you have completed the entire enrollment process (including payment of tuition / weighted fees), you will receive an Enrollment Certificate by e-mail at the e-mail address you indicated in Studielink. You will then officially be enrolled at Tilburg University. You will receive a separate Enrollment Certificate for each academic year and for each program, although only after all enrollment requirements have been met.
If you have completed the entire enrollment process before September 1, and if you do not receive your Enrollment Certificate by e-mail by mid-September, then please check the status of your enrollment in MySIS (Step 3).
Request Proof of Payment Tuition (BBC) (in certain cases)
You may need a Proof of payment tuition (BBC) for tuition fees exemption at a second institution or as part of an expense claim that you will be submitting to your employer. If you are in possession of an Enrollment Certificate (see Step 5) then you can request a BBC online.
