Completion of registration
Welcome letter by post
Once the Student Administration Department has received your
first registration at Tilburg University, a welcome letter will be sent to your postal address. This
letter contains your login name and password that you will need to
access the Tilburg University network, your university e-mail address and your student number.
Students coming from abroad will receive their welcome letter
during the Arrival Days.
Students who are already registered retain the same login information. Please note: The registration process has not been completed yet!
Continuation of the (re-)registration process through Tilburg University e-mail
Both new and currently registered students will receive e-mail(s) in
their university mailbox regarding their registration status. These e-mails will be sent in the course of the month of July!
REGISTRATION THROUGH STUDIELINK
If you have registered through Studielink, you will receive an e-mail regarding payment of tuition fees using a bank debit authorization form. The authorization form will be included as an attachment to the e-mail.
REGISTRATION DIRECTLY VIA TILBURG UNIVERSITY
Students who were not required to register through Studielink will receive a program-specific registration form by e-mail along with an authorization form for tuition fee payment. These forms must be completed, signed and returned
REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS COMING FROM ABROAD
Students coming from abroad will receive their forms during the Arrival Days.
Proof Tuition Fee Payment
If you want to register for two programs (both in higher education) and
the statutory rate applies to you in both instances, then you only have
to pay the tuition fee for one program.
PAYMENT TO ANOTHER INSTITUTION
Register as soon as possible at that institution and pay the tuition fee. Then request a Proof of Tuition Fee Payment (in Dutch: Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld - BBC). Submit the BBC to Tilburg University instead of the tuition fee payment authorization form. You must submit the original BBC. Copies will not be accepted, and neither will a bank statement!
PAYMENT TO TILBURG UNIVERSITY
If you pay tuition to Tilburg University, then you can ask the Student Desk for a BBC (= Proof of Payment) after all registration requirements have been met.
Checking your registration status through My Student Information System
You can check your registration status in My Student Information System
(MySis). You can also check whether there are any other forms or
documents you need to submit. Your welcome letter contains the login
information you will need to access MySis. For more information on this

Proof of Registration
Once you have completed the entire registration process (including payment of tuition), you will receive a Proof of Registration by post at the address you have provided to Tilburg University. From that moment on you are officially registered at Tilburg University. If you have completed the entire registration process before 1 September, and if you do not receive your Proof of Registration by mid-September, then please check the status of your registration in MySis
